In honor of Flag Day on Friday, June 14, 2019  the Sebring Elks Lodge #1529 and various Highlands County Veteran Organizations will join forces for a special flag ceremony at 6:00 pm followed by a spaghetti dinner and raffle. Public is welcome and advance tickets will be sold. 
This year marks the 242nd anniversary of the adoption of the flag of the United States of America!

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - FREE PARKING FRIDAY!

Come join us for the 9th edition of DIRTY DOZEN, our annual fundraiser fun run and canoe race benefitting our military and 1st responders.
 This year's event will include a FUN RUN from the shores of Elks Lodge to the tiki hut at VFW Post #4300 on Lakeview Drive and back.....followed immediately with a 3-person CANOE RACE on Lake Jackson!

Cool of this summer with an all new event on beautiful Lake Jackson, downtown Sebring, Florida. Come join us  Flag Day Weekend June 14-15, 2019 for a family friendly lake festival with a little friendly competition!  This year we have combined a FOOT RACE followed by a CANOE RACE as the MAIN EVENT on Saturday, along with great food, music, raffles, beer & wine and so much more!

Festival highlights to include a static boat display with pontoon tours on Lake Jackson and a chances to win some fantastic prizes!  Check out our vendor village for all the must-haves for the Summer of '19.  Visit with the Florida Watermelon Queen and compete in our "Seed Spitting Contest".  Sip on your favorite wines and ice cold beer or cool off with our watermelon or strawberry margarita POPSICLES!

FLAG DAY Friday, June 14th * 6-9 pm   (FREE PARKING FRIDAY!)

FAQ 

CAN I RUN AND PADDLE?
YES!  We offer a TEAM discount for our "duathalon" which consists of a 2K RUN followed by a 1K CANOE RACE!  Start time is 10:00 AM

CAN I BRING MY OWN CANOE?

Unfortunately NO.  We need to keep the race fair so we provide identical canoes, paddles and life jackets for each paddler.

HOW MANY PEOPLE IN A CANOE? (Team of 3 - $120)

The minimum is 3, and the maximum is 4.  For instance, If a child aged 3-7 would like to ride in the canoe with 3 other team members, the child rides FREE!  Child cannot paddle and must provide his/her own life jacket.

CAN I RUN ONLY?  (Individual runner $30)

YES!  If you are an individual who does not want to paddle, you may run ONLY at the 10:00 am spot.  You will get a FINISH time once you cross the finish line.

CAN I PADDLE ONLY?  (Team of 3 - PADDLE ONLY - $90)

YES!  You must be on a team of 3.  Our PADDLE ONLY option is at 1:00 pm!   Paddlers aged 8-12 must be accompanied by at least one paddler over 18.  (Cost is $30 pp or a TEAM of 3 is $90)

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE IF I AM PRE-REGISTERED?

We ask you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled activity but we hope you'll come early and enjoy our beautiful community!

CAN I WALK UP AND REGISTER?

Yes of course!  The walk up rate is $10 more and we cannot guarantee you a T-shirt.

WILL THERE BE AN ATM?

NO, but we will have a "bank" where you can purchase tickets for food and beverages using a credit card. 

CAN I BRING A COOLER?

We ask that you support our vendors by not bringing in any outside food or drink.  This is an annual fundraiser for both local and national charities and we know they'd love your support!

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO SPECTATE?

Spectators are FREE!  Parking is only $5 cash per car.  PARKING will be at ELKS LODGE and TOWNE SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Yes of course!  We are a dog-friendly bunch.  Please be sure to keep your furry friend on a leash.

ARE THERE VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES?

ABSOLUTELY!  We would love to help you boost your business and get your name out there!  Our vending space is only $200 for the entire weekend. Most sponsor opportunities INCLUDE vending space, so check those out too!  Simply click on the VENDORS link at the top of the page!  

DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?
